Stephanie Hamilton
Attorney at Law
A long time resident of Northeastern Indiana, Stephanie A. Hamilton graduated with honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012, and immediately began her practice in Auburn, Indiana. She practices in the counties of DeKalb, Steuben, LaGrange, and Noble. Stephanie is also admitted to practice in the Northern District of Indiana Federal Court.
Stephanie is an attorney who prides herself in offering her clients individualized attention and personalized service designed to fit the client’s specific needs. Attorney Hamilton’s legal representation is flexible depending on your situation. She can go to court and fight for you in litigation, and she can also be by your side in a collaborative law setting. Caylen J. McPherson
Attorney at Law
Caylen J. McPherson is an associate attorney at Hamilton Law, LLC and a life-long resident Northeast Indiana.
She graduated from Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2021, magna cum laude. Since becoming an attorney, Caylen has worked toward developing a client-centered practice with an emphasis on Criminal Defense, Family Law, Appellate Work, and Chapter 7 Bankruptcies.
Caylen practices in DeKalb, Steuben, LaGrange, Whitley, and Noble counties and is also admitted to practice in the Northern District of Indiana Federal Court. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the DeKalb County Bar Association.
Caylen volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and the Volunteer Lawyer Program’s Eviction Clinic in DeKalb County. In her free time, Caylen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, drawing, and spending time outdoors.
John M. Haecker
Attorney at Law
John Haecker was born in Bluffton in 1958 and has resided in northeast Indiana his entire life. He is a 1980 graduate of Ball State University and a 1983 graduate of the Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. John is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association.
In his spare time, John plays golf and enjoys volunteer work. John’s Practice areas: Family law, Civil litigation, Appellate practice.
Cari Betz-Yoder
Lead Paralegal/Office Manager
Cari is a highly skilled and dedicated Paralegal with over 19 years of experience in the legal field. Cari is a graduate of DeKalb High School and attended International Business College, where she earned her Diploma as a Legal Assistant.
As our Senior Paralegal, Cari is known for her exceptional attention to detail, strong research and investigative skills, and ability to work well under pressure. She is a master at drafting legal documents, managing case files, and organizing complex legal information. With a robust and extensive background in family law, criminal defense, civil law, appellate work, bankruptcies, small claims ollections, estate planning/probate and many other areas of law, Cari has been instrumental in streamlining our firm’s paralegal operations and is an invaluable asset to our legal team.
Cierra Holcomb
Paralegal
Cierra Holcomb began as an intern, who is now training as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal. She is a 2023 graduate from Eastside High School and currently attends Defiance College, with a major in History and a minor in Psychology. She is in the college’s Honors Program and has been named on the Dean’s List. Cierra plans to graduate with a bachelor’s degree a year early in 2026 and apply to law school thereafter.
In Cierra’s downtime, she socializes with friends and family, takes walks, enjoys movies, and plays games. She has an extensive background in cheerleading, having participated for four years at Eastside High School and for one year at Defiance College, serving as Cheer Captain for both.
